“Albert River Wines” offers a heritage venue that captures the grandeur of our colonial past. Home to three former Queensland Premiers, the restaurant is located in what was Auchenflower House’s billiard room. Expect history, elegance, and relaxing dining with great wines. The venue offers both indoor and al fresco dining and caters to couples, groups, families, and grand weddings or functions.

The glorious setting with its sweeping drive, the colonnaded veranda, and undulating hills covered with vines will provide an immaculate setting for what is sure to be an amazing experience. Albert River Wines – Vineyard Restaurant is a unique Australian dining experience, located on the verandah of the grand “Auchenflower House”, overlooking the lush green valley of vines with a stunning backdrop of Tamborine Mountain.

Our menu can be best described as Modern Australian, with Head Chef, Polish-born Daniel Puzio keeping the European roots of the menu fresh and alive.​The restaurant opens at 10 am daily for Devonshire Tea served till 11:30 am. Try our freshly baked scones with cream and jam, served with a pot of tea or coffee for just $12. Lunch commences at 11:30 am (last orders at 2:30 pm).

You can choose from a two or three-course special menu or from our a la carte selections. Enjoy live entertainment from the Vineyard Gazebo (weather permitting) every Sunday from 12 pm till 3 pm.
