A public access park restored as a nature refuge by local residents with Tamborine Mountain Landcare.

“For those who don’t know, there is a pleasant little forest walk on the Mountain which is specially suited to wheelchairs and strollers. It is the Esme Lahey reserve in Licuala Drive. The path is flat and bitumen-sealed all the way, if a little bumpy in parts. It’s not a wilderness walk by any measure but it provides a nice opportunity for a little stroll for those who can’t handle the longer bush walks. There is an information leaflet at the entrance for your enlightenment.” – Hugh Kearney
